Q. How will the
EAP support our existing Personnel Policies & Procedures?
A. Prism Quality EAP supports and encourages employees to adhere to the policies and procedures of their workplace. Employers are encouraged to forward a copy of relevant policies to the EAP to ensure consistency.

Q. How do you ensure satisfaction?
A. Prism Quality EAP requests that each person who uses the EAP fill out a confidential satisfaction survey. Results are aggregated and reported to the employer on an annual basis.

Q. How will the
EAP help our organization improve employee morale, productivity and attendance?
A. By proactively addressing workplace performance
issues! The EAP works with your human resource team to ensure that your employees
know how to access the service confidentially. The EAP can also boost morale
and productivity by offering an array of useful seminars designed to assist
your team in maximizing their capabilities on the job. Topics such as Stress
Management, Effective Communication and Work-Life Balance are regular favorites
with our customers.

Q. What types
of trainings can the EAP provide?
A. The EAP clinicians are skilled in many
topics. For a complete listing of the trainings currently available, please

to meet your specific needs.

Q. How are referrals
made to the EAP?
A. Employees may contact the EAP toll-free
number for a confidential referral at 1-888-276-6632. Employers/supervisors
may also refer employees to the EAP utilizing the policies and procedures
for EAP referral as determined by their organization.

Q. Can an employer refer an employee to the EAP?
A. Yes. How referrals are made really depends
upon your organization’s internal policies and procedures. Supervisors
may suggest that an employee utilize the EAP or, in certain circumstances,
may administratively refer an employee to the EAP. While employees have a right to refuse a referral to the EAP, when effectively utilized, administrative referrals can become an effective management resource.

Q. What information
will I get back if I make a referral to the EAP?
A. With a signed consent from the employee,
referents will be advised of the employee’s attendance at appointments.
Specific details regarding the issues discussed during EAP sessions will not
be disclosed.

Will I know if the EAP is being used by our employees?
A. The EAP
program provides utilization reports to employers on a quarterly basis. The
information in the report is aggregated to protect the confidentiality of the
employees.
